Bosnia in Focus
All those who did not have an opportunity
to see the powerful documentary film "Crime and Punishment"
by Maria Warsinski screened at the commemoration of the Srebrenica
massacre recently held at the United Nations can see it at Columbia
University in New York on Thursday, August 4th, 2005, starting
at 7 p.m. "Back to Bosnia", a documentary by Sabina
Vajraca and Alison Hanson, will also be shown. Film screenings
will be preceeded by a multimedia presentation of photographs
by Bosnian and international artists, whose work was inspired
by and dedicated to Srebrenica massacre and its aftermath.

screening
"Crime and Punishment" a
film by Maria F. Warsinski documenting the siege and aftermath
in Srebrenica with chilling real-time footage and powerful interviews
describing the journeys faced by survivors. With footage of
some of the men who orchestrated the massacre, the film has
been shown to the International War Crimes Tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

"Back to Bosnia" a film
by director Sabina Vajraca and producer Alison Hanson detailing
a family’s return to post-war Bosnia in order to reclaim
its stolen property. While there, the family is confronted with
the dissolution of their city and forced to examine the community
they left behind.
